baby names

http://www.notwithoutmyhandbag.com/babynames/

Somewhat funny, but mostly a bit mean.
Some of the names are just foreign to wherewhere the person lives.
So greek, irish, italian, japanese, spanish, russian, old english etc
names get mocked.

along with new names
old names with new spellings
nicknames given as birth names.

I am a Lucy Stoner

http://www.segnbora.com/lucystone.html

I respect this.
I may even be one if I marry.

Wonder if men would like to be able to change their surname if they wanted to?
Wonder if any of them do?

Bird flu and japan

Flu masks and anti-viral seem to help prevent it.

so it was faked, no human clones yet

"An academic panel investigating Korea’s cloning scientist Hwang Woo-suk Tuesday announced the 52-year-old falsified data in his purported feats of creating
cloned human stem cells. "

http://times.hankooki.com/times.htm

I'm disapointed.

"The technique of creating human blastocysts is a great medical feat, although Hwang’s team failed to extract stem cells from them. The know-how should be developed further,’’ said Prof. Park Hee-sung at Jinju (Chinju) National University who created a goat clone last year. "

But apparently they did clone a dog
and some of their work is still valid.

So a human clone might not be far off.
I don't really belive people will actually ever go and get cloned however.

House of one person

House of one person by japanese zen master

Quite interesting.
He has made a positive effect on his surroundings.

And how many zen masters open a bakery?

hyperdrive

hyperdrive studies

Interesting.
Sounds like a reasonable theory.
